people want it for their 40/40 sets.
wow, never seen 40k though :/
7-8 if you're unlucky, can usually get it for 5 or less though

Well, I'd corner the market at those prices, they sell very quickly for 25K-30K

Well, i've never seen ppl selling for any of the prices ppl just said, except the 20-30k, but imo it's more like 20-25.

Rarity and desirability. Same as Superior Vigors.

Actually he's right. "Aptitude Not Attitude" is for wands. "Forget Me Not" is for focus items. It's expensive because it's universal to all casters, because it takes on the attribute of the item being applied to. Unlike "Strength And Honor" which is abundant, FMN doesn't appear as often.

You need four different mods for a 40/40 set, a wand wrapping of memory, a focus core of aptitude and "Aptitude Not Attitude" and "Forget Me Not" inscriptions. Although all the four are needed in equal amounts, their availability differs significantly:

perfect wand wrapping - about 1/100 chance from a rare drop
perfect focus core - about 1/500 chance from a rare drop
perfect ANA - about 1/500 chance from a rare drop
perfect FMN - about 1/2000 chance from a rare drop

Because perfect FMN is so rare, it's pricey as well. It's the only mod with a market for non-perfect items.

lol @ Luminarus

But basically its a rather rare mod but repetitive farming of Caster mobs drops pretty quickly (thinking of vet farms) it is also in high demand.

The high demand of it / how rare it is pretty much fuzzlez the price up

Also i tend to find ppl are not so good on price checking Mods/inscr the prices tend to vary and i myself remember getting a forget me not awhile back and merching it

looong time ago however.

Also because the inscr is in such high demand ppl often use it rather than sell it... i know i would anyway.
Todays market its 20-25k i tried to sell at 30k once but i got hateful PMs

Rare drop + keep for own use = not many on the market

When I see someone with WTB for one, I tell them avg price and explain about collector weapons.

Ive gotten one ONCE with an attitude not aptitude mod, single handedly the best mods I have ever gotten. i got it out of a chest on a CoF run =). But it is very very rare and imperfects are even hard to find. My drop was the only one I have ever gotten and my inventory is filled with nothing but golds, mostly caster items.

I personally kept mt mod, knowing how extremely rare it was and attached it to my necro. If i ever need it on any char I usually use a perfect salvage on the mod, because i am not buying a new one. Most other mods have fallen in pricing because they became so common. Attitude not aptitude and forget me not are the only mods worth something these days.

Why are most expensive things that way? Because they are rare. Simply put.

20-25k is about the going price. It is a rare inscription. I didn't realize this until I decided to set my necro up with a 40/40 curse set. Realizing the total price and time it would take to get my set, I went the cheaper way and bought a couple Droknars Keys. The keys go for around 6-8k which is alot better value.

I have identified 1,903 items, only 3 of those had a perfect Forget Me Not inscription.

I get them occasionally and I once bought one for 1K after posting a WTB. Not everyone knows how much they go for.

Same reason why most expensive items are expensive. High demand with a limited supply. The inscription is quite uncommon.

Alright, I got my answer. Low drop rate, rare, people use them more than sell. This can be closed TY all.

And you are smart.

You can usually buy a collector set or greens instead of just the one inscription. I found this out a few weeks ago.
